Our Cancellation Policy

Studio J Pilates recognizes that schedules change unexpectedly. Please understand that our time is valuable as well, and when a class is scheduled, that block of time is being reserved just for you. When a class is missed or cancelled late without proper notice provided by you, we miss the opportunity to fill that spot. Therefore, we are requesting you respectfully cancel your reservation 2 hours before the start of class. You may do this by logging into your account and going to the date/time scheduled and cancel there, or via phone call or text message to cancel or reschedule.  Unlimited class packages are allowed 1 late cancel per month. After that, late cancels will count as no-show and a $25 fee will be charged.

The Wait List Explained

If the class is full, you can still sign up and be added to the wait list. If you are still on the wait list at the time class starts, you will be removed with no consequences to your package.  If someone cancels, you will be automatically added to the class schedule. The wait list is queued and only two people can be added to the wait list at one time.  You will receive an email through the scheduling app.  The studio will not call or send an SMS to remind you of your scheduled class time.

Late shows/ Late Cancellations

Clients will generally be allowed a 10 minute grace period past their originally scheduled time. After that time, we will consider the appointment missed and it will be marked as a no-show. If you arrive late to class, you will miss the time to warm up and your session may be cut short in order to finish within the allotted time that was scheduled for you

 

No Show Fees/Reduction of Class Package

A credit card will be required to hold scheduled classes. Late class cancellations will result in a reduction of the class from your package. No shows will result in a class reduction and a $25 fee. This fee must be paid in order to schedule any future classes with us.

As a courtesy, e-mail reminders are sent prior to your scheduled class. The reminder will include the date and time of your upcoming scheduled class. If you are not receiving these e-mail reminders, please ensure contact information is correct in your profile, check your e-mail spam folder or contact the studio so this issue may be resolved.

If we are unable to reach you, please know that it is your responsibility to provide the correct means of contact in your profile in addition to remembering your scheduled class time. We understand that unforeseen circumstances can arise, and we will do our best to work with you in the event of an emergency.
